Title: Feed Mill Operator l Reports to: Feed Mill Manager

Position Hours: Full Time, First Shift FLSA: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: To process all conventional or organic feed orders and ingredients to Herbruck’s strictest quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness around receiving and loading areas.
- Stocking supplies: bag ingredients
- Unloading bag ingredients
- Inventory of bag ingredients
- Any other duties assigned by management.
- Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.
- Implement and run the FMS/APEC systems.
- Help to maintain inventory control.
- Perform routine and unexpected maintenance and repairs.
- Assist in weighing of trucks.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
- Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- All Safety courses are up to date.
- Good standing with attendance
- Job observation completion of Feed Mill Operator I
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Able to work around moving machinery comfortably.
- Working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions
- Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors.
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

Salary : $19 - $20
