The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Accountant / CPA with a true concentration in accounting — not tax — to lead and elevate the accounting side of our practice. This is not a back-office role. You will be a trusted partner to our clients, a leader on our team, and a key contributor to the continued growth of one of the most respected firms in the region.

What You’ll Do
• Own and manage the full-cycle accounting function for a portfolio of business clients
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with precision and insight
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries
• Oversee general ledger integrity, chart of accounts structure, and internal controls
• Provide strategic financial reporting and KPI analysis to support client decision-making
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of staff accountants and bookkeepers
• Collaborate with our tax and advisory teams to ensure seamless client service
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices across the accounting function
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and current accounting standards
What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or multi-client firm experience strongly preferred)
• Active CPA license in good standing strongly preferred; license number required at offer stage
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s a plus)
• Deep expertise in accounting — financial reporting, GAAP, reconciliations, and close management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Excel (advanced)
• Experience with TaxDome, Karbon, or similar practice management platforms a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ownership mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can explain numbers to non-finance clients with confidence and clarity
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines without compromising quality
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
