Sourcing Specialist

Herbally Yours, a contract manufacturer of liquid, powder, capsule, and topical dietary supplements, is seeking a highly organized, proactive Sourcing Specialist to support our growing product development and production pipelines. ________________________________________

What You’ll Do

• Source raw materials, packaging components, and specialty ingredients for a diverse range of dietary supplement products
• Obtain and evaluate quotes, MOQs, COAs, specs, lead times, and regulatory compliance documentation
• Conduct supplier outreach, qualification, and ongoing performance evaluations
• Build and maintain cost models, sourcing databases, and vendor files
• Partner with R&D, Production, QA/QC, and Customer Service to meet project timelines and standards
• Manage procurement timelines to prevent stock-outs and support production scheduling
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supply chain efficiency
• Support NSF, Organic, Kosher, Halal, and cGMP compliance throughout the supply chain

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of purchasing or sourcing experience (manufacturing or CPG preferred)
• Familiarity with dietary supplement ingredients, nutraceuticals, or food/beverage categories a major plus
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (BatchMaster, NetSuite, etc.) a bonus
• High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and comfort juggling multiple priorities
• Ability to analyze cost structures, quotes, and supplier data
• Passion for building reliable, ethical, and cost-effective supply chains ________________________________________
