Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
- Use hand tools and power tools to trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, ensuring proper pruning and shaping.
- Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows for construction projects or seasonal cleanup.
- Maintain landscape features by installing or repairing hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering and healthy plant growth.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including planting, mulching, weeding, and pest control.
- Provide tree care services such as trimming, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and vitality.
Requirements
- Proven experience with landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping roles.
- Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators.
- Familiarity with garden maintenance practices including irrigation systems and gardening techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and disease management.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
