Join our team! We are currently hiring for the position of Precious Metal Controller located in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

The following challenges await you:

· We are seeking a meticulous and process-driven Precious Metals Controller to oversee the tracking, reporting, and management of precious metals within our recycling and product operations. This role is focused on material control and supports operational transparency and efficiency across various business lines, particularly in chemical product and recycling segments.

As a Precious Metals Controller, you will play a crucial role in helping the company make data driven decisions. Your work will involve developing and managing reporting systems, identifying key performance indicators and working closely with colleagues to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Become a precious metals controlling and recycling expert with the potential to grow into a more senior role.

· Business Line Performance Monitoring:

o Track and report the performance of business lines in relation to precious metals usage, recovery, and recycling.

o Ensure clear visibility of precious metals flows for production management and provide data-driven support for operational decision-making

· Precious Metals Tracking:

o Monitor precious metals volumes in a chemical production environment and ensure precise tracking.

o Perform complex analyses to assess and improve the quality and meaning of data in the related ERP system (SAP).

· Dashboard Development:

o Design and continuously improve a precious metals dashboard for management, providing real-time visibility into material flows, inventories, and recovery rates.

o Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure dashboard accuracy and usability.

· Inventory & Backlog Reporting:

o Oversee inventory levels and backlog of precious metals, ensuring accurate reporting and guiding production, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain accurate and timely inventory records.

o Become a precious metals recycling expert by analyzing large datasets to identify trends, address inquiries and answer questions.

· Process Optimization:

o Identify opportunities to improve tracking systems and material control processes.

o Develop and manage information proactively to support local management decision making and improve existing reporting systems.

o Support audits and compliance efforts related to precious metals handling and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
