Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations for Hera Flight. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to senior management, responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and supporting strategic financial decision-making as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and aviation industry financial requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers
• Develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to leadership to support operational and strategic decisions
• Manage and mentor accounting staff as the team grows
• Support aircraft management and charter billing processes in coordination with operations

Qualifications

• 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
• Experience in aviation, transportation, or a similarly asset-intensive industry a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
