Role Description:
The Talent Acquisition Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, GA (Dunwoody) or Evansville, IN. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including developing and maintaining job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating and conducting interviews, facilitating offers, completing pre-employment requirements, and supporting onboarding.
The TA Lead will partner closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to identify staffing needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and provide an effective and consistent experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. The position will recruit for a broad range of roles, from leadership and professional positions to skilled trades, production, warehouse, engineering, and supply chain positions.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, process-driven, approachable, and comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment. Experience recruiting within manufacturing, mining, logistics, construction, or similar industrial environments is strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for North American requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offers, pre-employment activities, and onboarding.
2. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, establish recruiting strategies, and provide consistent updates throughout the hiring process.
3. Create, maintain, and manage internal and external job postings and requisitions within the applicant tracking system.
4. Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies using databases, social media, professional networks, job boards, and other resources to build qualified candidate pipelines.
5. Review resumes and applications, conduct phone screens and interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and provide hiring managers with clear candidate recommendations and summaries.
6. Coordinate interviews, offers, candidate communications, background checks, drug screening requirements, and other pre-employment activities.
7. Maintain accurate and timely candidate, requisition, and recruiting information within applicable applicant tracking systems to support effective reporting.
8. Provide an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience through timely, professional, and consistent communication.
9. Support onboarding activities and ensure required new-hire documentation is complete and accurate.
10. Partner with hiring managers and HR to develop, review, and maintain accurate job descriptions.
11. Support hiring-practice training and provide recruiting guidance to leadership teams as needed.
12. Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws as well as company recruitment and selection policies.
13. Track recruiting effectiveness and support efforts to improve time-to-fill, candidate quality, and new-hire retention.
14. Continuously identify and implement recruitment process improvements while leading strategic talent acquisition projects from planning through execution
15. Participate in career fairs, job fairs, site visits, and other recruiting events as business needs require.
16. Assist with additional recruiting, onboarding, administrative activities, and HR projects as assigned.
