We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Driver Associate, you will be an integral part of our operations, supporting the safe handling, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment used in asbestos removal projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure that our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Loads and unloads trucks manually and with a tow motor.
- Restocks warehouse shelves and staging areas to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Checks in equipment and inventory using designated system.
- Follows documented receiving process.
- Reads orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, and staged.
- Fills pull lists, work orders, or requests for products, tools, or other stock items and distributes items.
- Marks products with identifying information.
- Inspects products for defects and damages.
- Returns repaired equipment to designated storage locations.
- Ensures trucks are loaded safely and efficiently based on daily operational needs.
- Delivers equipment to job sites and retrieves equipment after project completion.
- Performs basic equipment checks during delivery and pickup to ensure functionality.
- Assists with cleaning equipment before repair checks and servicing.
- Identifies and reports any damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Assists the repair shop by helping to maintain its cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required. 1 year of warehouse or maintenance experience preferred.
- Tow motor experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety practices, particularly in relation to hazardous materials.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
- Valid state driver’s license and a clean 5-year MVR check required.
