The Apartment Complex is located in Middletown, NJ. We are looking for a Superintendent to live on-site. Responsibilities include general interior and exterior maintenance, repairs in apartments and building common areas, and responding to work order requests. Skills needed include: (Electrical, Plumbing, A/C, HVAC, Appliances, Carpentry, etc.). Must be able to respond to after-hours hours emergency calls every other week (paid as overtime). Must have own tools, vehicle, and valid driver's license. Work week is M-F: 8-4:30 S: 8-12. Compensation includes: $900.00/wk (40 Reg 4 OT), apartment (utilities paid by employer), health insurance, overtime time pay as required, 1 week paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, and 6 paid holidays and $1,000.00 signing bonus after 90 days of continuous employment. Requirements:
* Strong understanding of major appliances, electrical, plumbing and carpentry repair. HVAC is a plus!
* Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
* Must own vehicle & have own tools.
* Must pass the background check.
