Success as an HLG Pre-Litigation Attorney means:
- Serve as lead attorney on assigned cases, ensuring timely progress and resolution.
- Open, review, and manage case files throughout the pre-litigation process.
- Evaluate and negotiate claims, seek medical bill/lien reductions, and make key case decisions (value, litigation, closure, referrals).
- Ensure deadlines (e.g., statute of limitations) are proactively managed.
- Provide consistent client communication, education, and support throughout the case lifecycle.
- Collaborate with case managers and attorneys; delegate tasks and support team operations.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting in the case management system.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A juris doctor degree required.
- License in good standing in Indiana required. Indiana and Illinois preferred.
- Bilingual employee a plus.
