What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box Truck Driver position at Henschel And Sons Exhaust Warehouse?
Qualifications:
- Have not had more than 2 traffic citations in a 2 year period or more than 1 at fault accident
- Have not had a DUI, driving in possession of drugs or alcohol, refusal to submit to a blood, urine or breath test, reckless driving, vehicular felony, driving with a suspended license, or driving in excess of 30 miles over the posted limit charges in the past 3 years
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Have had at least 1 year driving experience of box truck or bigger
Must have a valid medical examiners card/DOT card.
Job Duties:
- Safely deliver parts
- Pick up returns, as needed
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Perform basic driving and navigation duties
- Keep delivery vehicle clean and well-organized
- Accurately update delivery log
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Willing to stay in a hotel 2–3 nights per week as part of delivery routes
