Production Associate
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of assembly-type functions using common and specialized hand and/or power tools.
- Inspect and test.
- Operate overhead crane and/or power hoist to move component assemblies.
- Operate pneumatic, sanders and other equipment needed to de-burr components and parts.
- Use calipers, micrometers and standard measuring instruments or devices to measure work to close tolerances.
- Routine operators preventative maintenance as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate with team members and apply understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Physical and visual activities:
- Standing for prolonged periods of time on a concrete surface.
- Lifting; over 50 lbs, pulling, carrying, reaching, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
