JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for building, executing and reporting on engagement of email campaigns targeted to multiple segments deployed in one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns with the Pardot marketing automation platform. The Email Marketing Specialist should have a solid understanding of Email platforms, as well as best practices in Email marketing and campaign management. Experience mining and segmenting CRM data is a must. As a valuable member of the Marketing team, this person will collaborate with and assist team members in all marketing programs, campaigns, and activities with positivity, creativity, and a disciplined work ethic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building, and implementing one-time and recurring programmatic email campaigns on a daily basis.
Leverage marketing automation to nurture existing clients as well as create lead generation for new opportunities.
Pull segment lists using logical database operators to mine CRM data for specific target audience criteria.
Generate reporting and leverage data to draw insights and optimization of campaigns to ensure campaigns are meeting KPIs, retention, and revenue goals.
Work with Excel to match and merge target lists from internal and external sources and to analyze metric data.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team.
Cross-functional collaboration with other Marketing, Web, and Creative teams to deliver holistic and consistent customer experiences.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or equivalent experience that applies relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities
1-2 years of experience using Pardot, Eloqua, Marketo or similar marketing automation platform, preferably in a Salesforce integrated environment.
Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analysis, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills preferred
Strong project management/organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to think critically, ideate and articulate complex concepts in an easy to understand way to business stakeholders
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects at a time.
Impeccable attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Solid understanding of database concepts and segmentation.
