What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance Associate position at Henry's Foods, Inc.?
We are looking for a Maintenance Associate who is mechanically inclined that can fix & maintain equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assesses and repairs conveyor system and machinery.
- Conducts maintenance activities on building and grounds.
- Work on ladders, mechanical lifts and forklifts.
- Conducts preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyor.
- Research and fabricate solutions.
- Maintain daily log of maintenance items completed.
- Available to assist in shop on occasion.
- Conducts preventative and corrective maintenance throughout office areas, warehouse and grounds, including but not limited to doors, windows, and lighting.
- Performs job duties in accordance with established operational and safety standards.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Sweeping/Scrubbing Warehouse Floors
- Emptying Trash
- Walking Lines daily picking up product that falls off conveyor
Skills
- Must possess the ability to obtain qualification to operate man lifts and forklifts.
- Mechanically Inclined
- Proven working experience
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to make use of basic technology
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
