Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Navigates hand - held terminal using alphanumeric keypad, scroll keys and function keys for inventory management.
- Verifies inventory levels on Daily Out of Stock Report.
- Use the CountRight system to verify levels of inventory according to the inventory schedule.
- Ensure proper placement of product within location, backstock, and overstock.
- Check dating or verify inventory levels of an item when requested by customer service, buyers, accounts payable or sales.
- Replace location tags on item locations if they are missing or worn.
- Assist in product verification, holding, and/or disposal of products due to recall.
- Assist in proper handling of damaged or returned product.
- Performs job duties in accordance with established operational and safety standards.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. An individual must possess the ability to communicate and interact respectfully and positively with team members and supervisors.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to immediate supervisor.
Mathmatical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
