Henry Repeating Arms, an American made only company, is a family owned business that manufactures several lines of classic, well-crafted firearms and a leader in the firearms industry. Our Rice Lake and Ladysmith facilities have over 70 CNC machines, consisting of horizontal and vertical machining centers, turning centers, Swiss, custom CNC’s for barrel making and other state of the art production machines.
We are looking for a CNC Repair Technician for our Ladysmith, WI facility. A CNC Repair Technician oversees, maintains and responds to service requirements regarding CNC machining and related systems which accompany CNC machining. This position is responsible for keeping production CNC equipment and systems online and in good working order.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues / problems involving CNC machines and related systems, including automation and hydraulic work holding fixtures.
- Request / schedule service technicians through machine distributers when deemed necessary.
- Communicate with appropriate service technicians and other personnel through the repair process.
- Persistently and thoroughly follow up with machine distributers regarding lead times of parts and scheduled service. Expediting when necessary.
- Works closely and communicates well with all relevant departments, particularly CNC applications and Production.
- Manage the preventive maintenance on CNC machines and systems.
- Train appropriate employees in preventative maintenance and repair.
- Task and guide appropriate employees in daily work.
- Maintain CNC machine manuals.
- Update daily the current state of machines through shared live spreadsheet.
Qualifications:
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability
- Thorough understanding CNC machines and related automated systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must be able to work and communicate well with others
Pay is based on experience.
