What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Police Officer position at Henry Police Department?
The Henry Police Department is currently seeking an ILETSB certified police officer to fill two open part-time positions. Interested applicatns will be expected to work 2-4 weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts per month from the hours of 6PM-6AM (12-hour shifts) with opportunities to work other openings as they arise.
Starting pay is $26.00/hour. Premium pay of time and one half is available for Friday/Saturday night shift (6PM-6AM) and holidays.
Uniform items provided are: a summer and a winter uniform shirt, 2 pairs of pants, and multi-season coat.
What We're Looking For:
-At least 2 years of prior law enforcement experience
-Able to pass background check as set forth by the State of Illinois
-Psychological and physical screening may be required
