Pay Range: NEURODIAGNOSTIC TECH I- $32.42 to $51.88
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing neuro-diagnostic studies including awake, awake/asleep, long term and electrocerebral-silenced electroencephalograms. Responsibilities include assisting with electrocardiodiagnostic studies including ECG’s, holtering maximal, submaximal treadmill nuclear stress tests and stress echo treadmill tests.
Licensure and Certification:
- Experience with neurodiagnostic exams or completion of neurodiagnostic training course (didactic/clinical training); that includes one additional modality.
- Current BLS provider card
Education:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
Experience:
- Experience in Neurodiagnostic studies awake/asleep and long term exam
- NICU and Pediatric exam experience desired
- Treadmill, ECG, and Basic Arrhythmia Course is desired
Knowledge and Skills:
- Neuro-diagnostic studies including awake, awake/asleep, and electrocerebral-silenced electroencephalograms
- Electrocardiodiagnostic studies including ECG’s. maximal, submaximal treadmill nuclear stress tests and stress echo treadmill tests desired

Physical Demands - Patient Care:
- Continuous standing/walking and occasional/intermittent sitting.
- Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and shoulder level to handle/operate medical equipment/devices.
- Frequent reaching above shoulder level and overhead.
- Frequent forward bending, twisting, squatting and kneeling; occasional climbing.
- Occasional repositioning and transferring patients weighing up to 200 pounds between bed, chair, and gurney.
- Occasional lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional/intermittent pushing of gurneys, wheelchairs, bed and other medical equipment over tiled and carpeted surfaces.
- Continuous use of near vision to read medical equipment such as monitoring devices and reading documents and computer screens; hearing and verbal communication to interact with patients, co-workers, and other customers.
