Outside Sales Representative
We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative for Texas Johns for the San Antonio area. We are a young company looking for an individual that wants tremendous growth potential and opportunity as we grow. This individual must be self-motivated as supervisor oversight is limited.
Duties:
- Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale
- Maintains detailed reports and records of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
- Researching competitors’ services, products, and pricing as well as market conditions
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Experience in construction and special events; familiarity with construction sites
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with CRM and Lead generation Software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field a plus
- At least 2 years of related experience required.
- Experience in project management a plus
