What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Services Therapist LPC - Full Time - Days - Jackson position at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital?
$10,000 sign-on bonus
FULL TIME 40 HOUR DAYS POSITION
Provides evidence based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team. Also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed. Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master's (or Doctoral) degree in counseling from a national or regionally-accredited institute of higher education, including an internship and coursework on human behavior and development, effective counseling strategies, ethical practice and pertinent core knowledge areas and experience. Completion of a minimum of 3000 hours of post-master's degree supervised clinical experienced performed within two years.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Licensed Professional Counselor.
