DESCRIPTION:                  

• The district is seeking a highly effective educator(s) to serve in the role as Secondary School Counselor.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students, peers, parents and community.
• Provide academic scheduling guidance and support.
• Advise and counsel students with both short-term and long-term academic planning as well as social emotional problems. 
• Support student career and college readiness.
• Support building assessment planning, preparation and implementation.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Secondary School Counselor Credentials required.
• Endorsement sought: School Counselor (NT)
• Successful experience working with and/or teaching secondary students
• Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills, advanced problem-solving approaches and a strong desire to promote student success.
