The 6th Floor is a 48-bed Medical–Surgical Unit that provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. Our nurses are multi‑faceted professionals who support patients through many phases of care. Patients on our unit are treated for a wide range of diseases, conditions, and injuries, including post‑surgical recovery, acute infectious diseases requiring intravenous antibiotic therapy, and exacerbations of chronic illnesses. We also provide compassionate care and comfort for patients requiring end‑of‑life support.
What truly sets our unit apart is our commitment to growth and adaptability. Both new graduate nurses and seasoned nurses are welcomed and supported as they develop knowledge and skills that prepare them to thrive in a constantly evolving healthcare environment. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
· Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
