Status: Full-Time | Days
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
Call/Weekends: 1 weekend per month
Position Overview:
Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our reproductive medicine team across our Detroit, Troy, and Rochester Hills locations. This role focuses on the comprehensive evaluation and management of patients experiencing infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss, including telemedicine and in-person consultations, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning. The provider will be responsible for interpreting complex imaging and lab results, performing specialized procedures such as saline sonograms and pelvic ultrasounds, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized field of women’s health, supporting patients through their fertility journey in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications:
- NP or PA graduate from an accredited program
- Current (or in-process) Michigan licensure
- National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
- BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire)
- 2 Years of APP Experience Required
Credentials:
Education & Training
· Physician Assistant (PA): Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
· Nurse Practitioner (NP): Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
Licensure
· Current licensure as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required).
Certification
· PA: Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
· NP: National certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan
(e.g., ANCC, AANP)
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required (may be obtained after hire)
DEA / Controlled Substance Licensure
- PA: DEA and Michigan Controlled Substance License (CSL) required through credentialing
- NP: DEA registration required through credentialing; NPs do not hold a Michigan CSL and will use their Michigan license number during the application process
