Provides behavioral health counseling services. Full licensed MSW, LPC with three years of clinical experience (Individual, Group, Family). Ability to diagnose, use EMR, complete treatment plans, build rapport with school officials.
Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.| Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.| Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.| Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.| Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Masters Degree with at least 3 years experience in the field of counseling, social work or psychology (Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required).
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED One or more of the following required: - Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office. - Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office. - Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office. - Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any issuing authority accepted. Verified by local Credentialing Office. - BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted.
