General Summary:
- EEG technologist I is an entry level position in the Neurophysiology Department.
- The tech will maintain patient safety while the patient is being monitored in the EMU (epilepsy monitoring unit) or while undergoing an 8 hour VEEG.
- The tech is responsible for ensuring electrode integrity, visually watching and tracking (via camera) epilepsy patients (2-8 patients) via monitors.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited Electrodiagnostic (END) program, is preferred
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current BLS certification.
