We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Directional Drill Operator to join our construction team. Duties
- Operate directional drilling equipment with precision to ensure accurate underground utility placement.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Assist with site preparation and cleanup before and after drilling activities
- Coordinate with project managers and crew members to execute drilling plans efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations during operations
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of site work zones as required
Experience
- Proven experience operating directional drill.
- Knowledge of directional drilling techniques and equipment is a MUST.
- Construction site experience with a focus on underground utilities.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly
- Commercial driving experience with a valid CDL license is a plus
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols is essential.
