What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist Full Time 72 hours per pay, holiday rotation and every 4th weekend. position at Henry County Hospital?
Responsibilities: This position will work in our HCH Primary Care clinic and is responsible for collecting clinical samples for the hospital. The Laboratory Assistant must be sensitive to working with people of all ages and needs to communicate clearly.
Qualifications: BLS, GED or High School Diploma required. Must acquire and or maintain drug and alcohol collection and testing certificate within a year of hire. Previous phlebotomy experience is required. National Phlebotomy Association Certification or equivalent preferred.
