What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant Float for Orthopedic office position at Henry Community Health?
Responsibilities
- Perform office procedures icluding; billing, bookkeeping and typing/correspondence
- Ability to take vital signs, ECG and perform other clinical assistance tasks
- Interacts with patients and families in a professional manner
- Maintains professionalism while interacting with payors, vendors, insurance, etc.
Qualifications
- Graduation from technical school with certification or registration eligibility is preferred.
- One year related experience preferred
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and families and collaborate with health team members
- CPR certification
