What will be my responsibilities?
This position reports to the store manager and assists her in all the day-to-day operations from receiving & merchandising to sales & bookkeeping. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Help customers with product selection and complete sales transaction.
- Execute merchandising plan to set up aesthetically pleasing and playful displays
- As a key holder, be responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Receive and stock product with accurate documentation.
- Be in charge of all store operations in absence of the manager.
What Qualifications/Experience/Requirements are needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience in a Specialty retail environment.
- Knowledge/experience with board games, children’s books and toys is a plus.
- Be able to work evenings and weekend shifts.
- Physically active role – on your feet all day and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Experience in merchandising and creating beautiful product displays is very desirable.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
