What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Henrob Corporation?
As a Production Supervisor, your mission is to lead, guide and develop our production teams to achieve daily targets within our various production areas. You will support the Production Manager and Production team with identifying and achieving KPI's'; supporting & ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost practices; and fostering a "great place to work" environment. You will
- Provide daily direction to assigned personnel to ensure all daily deliverables and tasks, are completed in accordance with Operations KPI structure.
- Ensure facilities have the properly trained, skilled staff and manufacturing resources to effectively manufacture high quality products and ensure all Henrob customers receive high quality products per specifications and as requested to meet their production needs
- Monitor and react to key performance indicators and anticipate issues
- Develop and maintain thorough understanding facility processes and conditions
- Create a 'center of excellence' ideology within Production through perfect visualization and 5S standards
- Develop and follow a clear plan to bring all personnel to the expected skill levels necessary to operate the business at the targets set
- Support the development of 'TPM' systems within Production and Maintenance teams.
- Partner with Operations Managers to support and provide input into the Strategy, Master Schedules and Plans
- Support and develop the Production team to focus on the right projects, deliver in a timely manner and ultimately benefit the overall business goals
- Consider and lead key activities within daily, short, mid, and long-term business growth
- Provide strong leadership and support within the organization by utilizing Root Cause
- Support and encourage Production to investigate and identify new ideas to foster the spirit of Kaizen.
- Attend, support, and contribute to all relevant operations business reviews.

- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to professionally and credibly present Henrob to our internal and external customers in both written and verbal form
- Possess Logical thinking and analytical thinking skills
- Experience working in a fast moving environment and be
- Ability to demonstrate good time management, flexibility, and organizational skills
- Strong skillset to lead and motivate employee teams; build and maintain positive employee relations.
- Strong production planning and scheduling experience
- Basic understanding and exposure to Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques
- Experience with, and good understanding of high volume production methods
- Experience in managing budgets, KPI orientated and data driven
- Must be open to shifts and overtime as needed
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing leadership role required
- 2-3 years in a direct supervisor role highly preferred
EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 or 4 year degree in business or manufacturing engineering preferred, or similar. Will consider successful work experience in manufacturing leadership role in lieu of education, minimum 3 years required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (AS APPLICABLE):
Must be able to move around a manufacturing site on a regular basis, between two site buildings.
