Job Summary And Qualifications
The Lead Cardiac Sonographer is a certified Cardiac Sonographer in a leadership position who participates in the planning, organizing, supervision and evaluation of the Echocardiography Lab. S/he reports to the Director of Cardiovascular Services and works collaboratively with all other departments. This individual assures the provision of high quality patient care, manages staff and equipment appropriately, fosters a cooperative and collaborative relationship with the physicians, establishes and maintains good internal and external customer relationships. S/he fosters a team approach to providing patient care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient and equitable.

What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- NH Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy (MIRT) Board registration is required if not currently licensed or registered by a NH regulatory board.
- A Cardiac Sonographer with a degree from an accredited school of ultrasound imaging or equivalent clinical training, who holds certification through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Two years of recent clinical experience in cardiac imaging is required. Demonstrated mentoring and leadership abilities required.
- One year of supervisory or management experience preferred.
- BLS certification.
