- NOW OFFERING A $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS TO QUALIFIED CANDIDATES!**
- Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures.
- Performs all CT procedures.
- Observant of patient's conditions.
- Transfers and positions the patient in a safe manner.
- Practices radiation safety as described in federal standards, utilizing ALARA policy.
- Understands and operates electronic information systems.
- Compiles appropriate records to expedite results.
- Administers contrast media as required.
- Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of CT and to meet the continuing education requirements of the ARRT.
- Involvement in Quality Control/Quality Improvement.
- Initiates patient teaching including family and/or significant others.
Experience
- Required - Previous experience in Radiology
- Preferred - One-year dedicated CT experience
- Required - Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- BLS – within 30 days of hire
- ARRT certification in CT within 12 months of hire
