Job Summary and QualificationsThe Administrative Assistant assists the patients, visitors, other departments, co-workers and physicians as necessary; exhibits excellent customer relations; shows courtesy, compassion and respect. Communicates with hospital staff members, other hospital Administrative staffs, Directors and Physicians
· You will complete correspondence and documents, take minutes at assigned meetings, organizing work to complete duties effectively and efficiently.
· Organize and set up for meetings and other functions. Assist other HCA committees and groups for on-site meeting functions as necessary
· You will maintain departmental records, files and charts to meet regulatory standards and hospital policy
· Collect/audit statistical data daily/monthly for designated areas. Provides daily/monthly reports as requested
· Maintain calendars, set appointments and coordinate travel arrangements for Chief Operating Officer and other Senior Executives.
What qualifications you will need:
· Previous experience as secretary with computer and word processing skills is required
· Medical secretary with computer skills preferred
· Graduate of a secretarial school with medical terminology and computer course also preferred
*Possess the ability to work Monday - Friday, either 6a - 2p or 7a - 3p
