Location: Phoenix, Arizona (On-Site) 


Travel Requirement: Approximately 25–30% travel to support 10–15 store locations across the southern region of the United States. Travel includes routine visits to assigned locations at least once per quarter (excluding the primary on-site location). Additional travel may be required as needed to support employee relations matters and investigations.

Position Summary: 


The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic advisor to business leaders, responsible for aligning HR strategies with organizational goals and driving business outcomes through effective people practices. This role partners closely with leadership across multiple locations to enhance organizational effectiveness, strengthen talent pipelines, and foster a high-performing, engaged workforce. 


 


The HRBP supports approximately 10–15 store locations across the southern region of the United States, collaborating closely with HR leadership to ensure consistent and effective HR support across all regions. 


 


Key Responsibilities: 


- Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives. 


- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. 


- Lead and conduct employee investigations, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant resolution of workplace issues. 


- Drive workforce planning initiatives, including talent acquisition strategies, succession planning, and organizational design. 


- Analyze HR data (e.g., turnover, engagement, performance metrics) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations. 


- Support and lead change management initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness. 


- Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and programs across all supported locations. 


- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws, including EEOC, ADA, and FMLA. 


- Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment and selection strategies aligned with workforce needs. 


- Enhance onboarding and orientation programs to improve employee engagement and retention. 


- Coach and develop leaders to strengthen management capability and team performance. 


- Support and optimize performance management processes, including evaluations and development planning. 


- Assist in the design and facilitation of HR training and development programs. 


- Identify and mitigate organizational and people-related risks. 


- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee records and HR data. 


- Collaborate closely with HR leadership to effectively balance workload and regional coverage. 


- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. 


 


Qualifications: 


Education: 


- Bachelor’s degree required; Human Resources or related field preferred. 


- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred or in progress. 


 


Experience: 


- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Generalist or Business Partner experience. 


- Proven experience partnering with leadership to drive HR strategy and business results. 


- Strong background in employee relations, talent management, and HR compliance. 


- Demonstrated experience conducting employee investigations. 


- Experience with Paycom HRIS preferred.
