Job Description
Position Description:
• Oversee and design a wide variety of projects, from small to large, in the multi-use, residential, commercial, educational, etc., categories.
• Manage and develop site design (from conception through final approval), stormwater management design, grading, erosion and sedimentation control, site investigation, and research of state and local regulations and design standards.
• Prepare or assist with concept plans, site plans, and subdivision plans and reports. Must have fundamental knowledge of stormwater management design.
• Regular coordination/communication with contractors, clients, sub-consultants, and other team members.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• NJ P.E. Preferred
• E.I.T. Required
• 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
• Must have proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or other stormwater design software
• Experience in land development and site design preferred
• Stormwater Management, Grading, Erosion & Sediment Control, and Utility Design
• Navigate regulatory agency permitting (ie. NJDEP) and subdivision and site plan approvals
• Strong work ethic and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to manage and design multiple concurrent projects
