Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial/Government Construction Estimator located in San Antonio, TX. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for commercial and government construction projects, analyzing project plans, collaborating with project managers and clients, and ensuring bid proposals are accurate and competitive. The role includes researching costs, materials, and labor requirements, and maintaining relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and government agencies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Government Relations and Local Government practices
- Effective Communication and Analytical Skills
- Experience working with Public Sector contracts and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a construction estimator in commercial and government projects preferred
