The Project Coordinator supports all levels of operations teams. They will organize the construction project from start to finish. This role is responsible for performing project control functions and ensure that all projects utilize said controls, coordinating schedules with the project teams, and assisting in aligning resources as needed for support of operations.

- Complete OSHA trainings as directed by Safety Director
- Assist in creation and implementation of Project Safety Plan

- Maintain project directory including architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members

- Review, expedite, and monitor all project requirements from Procore® set up through project closeout
- Coordinate with Project Engineer and Project Manager to initiate, lead, document, and/or share project communications including meeting notes and agendas
- Identify areas of project risks and advise Project Manager and Superintendent while investigating solutions; including collecting current vendor certificates of insurance and sharing with accounting
- Ensure all project documents are executed correctly and in timely manner including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and change orders; reporting on status in weekly team meetings
- Assist in prequalification process and bond status tracking as needed
- Build and maintain an organized file system including contract documents, drawings and specifications, meeting minutes, bids, pricing, requests for information, change orders, and any other project documentation in Procore® or other appropriate systems as outlined in SOPs
- Provide basic support for all other departments as needed, along with other assigned duties.
- Requires continuous improvement mindset; lead & participate in continuous improvement of processes to eliminate waste and improve customer and vendor experience.
- Integrate new or existing technology, as directed to by supervisor, to provide best in class project solutions.
- Expedite job closeout procedures including: storage of as-built drawings, updating operations manuals, reviewing warranties and guarantees, service visits, punch list, and final acceptance to provide timely job turnover to client
- Combined 5 years education or relatable industry experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong communication and effective listening skills
- Ability to read people and adapt your approach to achieve results
- Effective contributor and team player
- Proficient in Sage®, Procore®, Microsoft Office®, and other construction related software
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently in an office environment
- Frequent activities of office environment include sitting, standing, walking, typing and other computer work, using telephone and other standard office equipment
- Occasional activities of office environment include balancing, bending/stooping, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion
