Highlights of the Position:
Henniges Automotive has an opportunity in its Keokuk Iowa location for a Quality Manager. This position is responsible for management of the Quality department, customer interactions, corrective actions, report-out on measurable (PDCA and Dashboards), maintain the Quality systems to IATF standards, and follow Henniges Automotive Vision, Mission and Company Culture statement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Quality Department ensuring its effectiveness.
- Monitor and be aware of all formal complaints from all customers.
- Communicate to all departments utilizing the Quality Alert System via the Quality Engineers.
- Display positive and effective communication with all customers regarding complaints and requests.
- Oversee corrective actions for completeness and timeliness
- Oversee the Quality Management System ensuring compliance to IATF 16949
- Report out measurable's to the Management Team and Corporate office though the operations review
- Visit customers and vendors to ensure open lines of communication and comprehension of issues and requirements.
- Work within the framework of Health and Safety and Environmental requirements
- May lead projects and/or project teams (including assigning work, reviewing progress and evaluating results), mentor, provide guidance and technical direction to less experienced engineering and technical staff, including the provision of input in performance evaluations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education
- Minimum: Basic professional knowledge/skills normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Knowledge and skills typically acquired through five (5) plus years’ experience in dedication towards achievement of impeccable work ethic and commitment to achieve 100% Quality. Essential requirement to be ready for customer challenges and be able to solve real-time problems efficiently and quickly.
- CQE certification is mandatory
- Travel may be required to customer sites and Henniges Plants.
