Job Overview
At Henniges Automotive, we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our production facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee manufacturing processes, optimize efficiency, and weigh in on customer and new business . As a key leader, you will support the maintenance department and the engineering team with various projects and implementations. Your expertise will help shape the future of our manufacturing expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing projects.
- Review of new business for functionality, feasibility and process capability.
- Oversee process engineering activities.
- Manage the maintenance department and the engineering team.
- Supervise maintenance of factory equipment.
- Support Documentation and Systems – TS16949, ISO14000, Q1, OSHA, etc.
- Responsible for all Engineering changes within quote system on current product.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in managerial role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and problem-solving within complex manufacturing systems.
- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate teams and foster a culture of innovation and quality.
Preferred Experience
- Automotive Industry; rubber, extrusion, finishing
- Tier 1 / Tier 2 manufacturing
Note
- This is a contract position/ 1099, with a preferred commitment of 6 months.

Pay: From $10,000.00 per month
