What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Henniges Automotive?
Responsible for the proper functioning of plant, machinery and equipment through the organization, planning and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance.
Assignments are received in the form of broad goals and/or areas of responsibility. Associate has broad latitude (within the defined scope of responsibility) for independent action in setting objectives and deciding how to proceed, consistent with Corporate goals and objectives.
Key Accountabilities
· Provide technical solution to solve problems (equipment and machinery).
· Responsible to manage and execute the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programs.
· Ensure effective management of spare parts.
· Act as a key contact for transfers and layout movements.
· Suggest specific requirements and characteristics to modify and/or acquire new machinery/equipment.
· Responsible of the tool-shop area.
· Responsible for the facility´s support equipment.
· Performs, guides, and/or ensures the accomplishment of the following core management functions for the department: planning, organizing, directing, staffing/employee selection and performance management, coordinating, reporting & budgeting.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Education
Minimum: Professional knowledge / skills normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree
program in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Experience
Minimum: Knowledge and skills typically acquired through 5-plus years experience as a Maintenance
Engineer or Supervisor.
Preferred: Pneumatic and PLC experience
