**Entry-Level Structural Engineer Job Description**

Henneman Engineering Inc.-Industrial Technology Group (ITG) provides

comprehensive engineering solutions and consulting services to a broad

base of clients in heavy manufacturing, food production, chemical

processing, consumer products, energy, and renewable energy. The staff

of professionals at Henneman-ITG specializes in electrical, mechanical,

chemical, process, controls, plumbing, and structural engineering.

Henneman-ITG continues to provide innovative, cost-effective, and

quality engineering solutions that are responsive to clients needs in a

professional and profitable manner. ITG currently has a position

opportunity for a structural engineer for our Champaign, IL office, in

person.

Responsibilities Of The Structural Engineer

• Participate in overall design and engineering of structural systems
  
  

for projects as assigned throughout construction phase.

• Visit job sites to conduct structural inspections, verifications,
  
  

and progress evaluations.

• Coordinate system layout and drawings with other disciplines; work
  
  

as part of a multidisciplinary project team(s).

• Prepare contract documents, technical specifications, reports,
  
  

structural cost estimates, and other relevant documents.

• Review and act upon RFIs, submittals, and other construction-related
  
  

documents.

Qualifications/Requirements Of The Structural Engineer

• Education: Bachelors degree minimum; Masters degree preferred.
• Experience: 0-10 years. However, Henneman Engineering is open to
  
  

considering a diverse range of experience and skill levels.
