Responsibilities
- Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
- Manages and ensures customer's expectations for quality, schedule, and budget are satisfied
- Direct management of the operations portion of the project and interface with the customer and internal stakeholders
- Provide the customer updates on operations portions of the program
- Strives to improve the program's margin
- Reports program performance data as required to management and customers
- Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc.
- In coordination with project management; plan and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).
- Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
- Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
- Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
- Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
- Perform additional assignments per Supervisor's direction.
- BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
- 5 years utility construction experience in relevant operations management, construction management, and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction, or equivalent combination of technical training and Operations Management experience.
- Experience in all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, cost control schedules and safety required.
- Experience in understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards, and their impact on project activities.
- Familiar with scheduling software applications (Primavera, MS Project) a plus
- 100% overnight travel required
- Able to travel for extended periods of time at various locations.

Salary : $91,000 - $130,000
