YOUR ROLE
- Administers machine operations, as required to accomplish production objectives. Set-up, filling and packaging equipment as required.
- Adjusts dials, gauges, photo eyes, torque, labelers, tape machines, date coders, weigh scales and other related equipment, as required to positively affect production operations.
- Assemble cartons, pour/package products at required quantities and label cartons/ containers as required for products according to shop order packaging instructions.
- Performs various SPC data collection and charting activity, as specified.
- Monitors production process to ensure compliance to operational standards. Ensure compliance with all facility SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) policies and procedures. Ensure conformance and support with facility quality management system.
- Maintains accurate inventories, performs production reporting, inventory transfers, tally card process and picks components when batch is complete utilizing the operating system.
- Maintain 5S, Visual Factory and lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping and be assigned to attend team meetings designed to reduce cycle time, remove waste and non-value added activities and reduce costs.
