YOUR ROLE
Seattle, WA is the preferred location for this role. Stamford, CT will also be considered.
· The National Business Manager is responsible to develop a strategic partnership with the customer that delivers on Henkel Beauty Care’s objectives in net sales, profitability, market share, and trade management. Strengthen Henkel’s position as the customer’s preferred partner by providing category solutions with Henkel brands.
· Manage strategic partnership with the Amazon account across all relevant formats (.com, Fresh, Prime Now, etc), develop and execute a strategic business plan that addresses assortment, marketing, promotional planning and budgeting. Develop new business opportunities to maximize sales and influence with the customer.
· Successfully collaborate with the broader eCommerce Team on content and innovation projects and partner with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, Sales Strategy, Supply Chain, Finance and others to help drive sustainable growth of Henkel’s Beauty Care business at Amazon.
· Manage launch strategy and execution plan of all innovation (items and new brands) in Beauty Care with effective project management to drive sales ramp and market share.
· Responsible for managing all financial aspects/budgets tied to the customers trade, brand marketing and promotional plans.
· Manage annual planning and budgeting cycle as well as monthly forecasting of gross and net sales, and demand forecasts. Carry out “Actual vs. Plan” analysis of financial KPIs; monitor & benchmark achievement of quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
· Effectively negotiate terms and conditions with Amazon as part of annual vendor negotiations.
· Proactively develop insights, tactics and strategies to drive growth, gain share and deliver on key KPIs.
· Closely cooperate with eCommerce Director & the global e-commerce sales unit to share best practices and deliver against Global KPI’s.
