YOUR ROLE
- Under the direction of the Technical Leadership team, the Automation/Controls Engineer II will lead the ideation, development, implementation, and support of automation/controls aspects of efficiency, reliability, and capacity expansion projects site wide.
- Including but is not limited to Building Automation, On-Site Wind Turbine Generators, Batch Process Control, Safety Systems, and a diverse set of Manufacturing Equipment.
- Serve as a key contributor to the strategic planning, evaluation, organization, and implementation of automation related projects and initiatives.
- Develop new process control/automation systems, and revise/maintain existing systems; managing and guiding contractors, consultants, and suppliers Identify new opportunities and solutions that bring return on investment to the firm.
- The Automation/Controls Engineer II will be required to perform and present business justifications to solicit funding and resource.
