What You´ll Do

• Manages laboratory functions, including inventory tracking, purchasing of consumables, and raw material onboarding
• Identifies and develops new approaches, solutions, processes, products, methods within an agreed timeframe
• Ensures compliance with Henkel corporate SHE standards, policies and procedures and manages the lab and innovation process
• Provides technical support services to Manufacturing and Quality as required
• Executes process developments to support cross-functional teams to achieve completion of new technology products consistent with strategic objectives
• Provides guidance and recommendations on patents, trademarks and proprietary agreements
• Approves technical readiness of raw materials and products as well as first production and quality specs
• Tests or supervises tests on product stability and performance
• This role is fully onsite
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields
• 1 years work experience in research and development Experience
• Knowledge of polymer science, including polymer chemistry, structure property relationships, rheology, bulk and adhesive mechanics of soft materials.
• Technical expert in adhesive chemistries, composite materials, polymer network physics, highly filled suspension rheology, and/or resin cure chemistry.
• Familiarity with product development processes such as stage gate reviews and project initiation
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office, Labview, Autocad or solid drawing programs and other common technical software packages

The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 and $100,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
