What You´ll Do
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects while helping ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Assist with basic and detailed engineering for large capital projects executed by the regional group.
- Generate purchase orders and manage the tracking, storage, and coordination of project equipment and materials.
- Coordinate daily activities between contractors and internal operations, participate in contractor meetings, and provide construction oversight as needed.
- Conduct field verification of installations against P&IDs, equipment specification sheets, and engineering design drawings to ensure accurate execution.
- Support process safety and compliance initiatives, including Safe Work Permits, risk assessments, HAZOPs, MOCs, PSSRs, and other safety-related programs.
- Assist with equipment commissioning, startup activities, and ongoing engineering and operational improvement initiatives across the site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in the chemical process industry, with hands-on experience in or supporting a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at different stages simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, evaluate processes, and make data driven decisions; required.
- Knowledge of unit operations, and PLC/DCS systems is highly valued.
- Industry standards (API, ASME, NFPA, ISO, OSHA), management of small capital projects, Knowledge of process safety management, a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% required.

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
