This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings

What You’ll Do

As an Application Engineering Intern, you will:

• Get hands-on experience in the adhesive development process for our brand Loctite.
• Work on and help solve real-world technical challenges.
• Conduct lab work to support new product introductions and customer sample testing.
• Report technical results and findings to internal teams.
• Gather and analyze data to validate materials and formulations.
• Assist in investigating and resolving technical issues with customers.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• A rising junior or rising senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Material Sciences
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Ability to gather, manage, and analyze large datasets
• Basic lab experience preferred

Additional Information

• This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
• Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.
• Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
