What You´ll Do
- Safely handle, label, store, and prepare hazardous waste and recycling materials in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records for waste management and air permit requirements (e.g., waste tracking, air units, dust collectors).
- Coordinate and perform safe offloading of bulk materials (solvents and polymers), including equipment setup, monitoring, and documentation.
- Inspect, organize, and maintain storage areas, tanks, and recycling zones to meet safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
- Support operations through communication, equipment use, spill response, safety training, and reporting of hazards or irregularities.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in chemical handling, hazardous waste, and industrial safety practices.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Physically capable and safety-focused, with willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., OSHA, RCRA, Hazmat), with additional ISO and regulatory experience as a plus.
