What you´ll do

• Position Overview
• The Transport Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods by coordinating transport planning, managing carrier availability, and supporting warehouse and customer service operations.
• This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within multiple systems to manage transportation processes and documentation.
• Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and support the transport planning process to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
• Work closely with the transport planner to ensure carrier availability.
• Collaborate with warehouses and the Customer Service Control Tower for seamless operations.
• Plan and execute deliveries for rush orders and other non-standard shipments.
• Resolve issues communicated by the transport planner during the planning process.
• Establish and maintain accurate records for all shipping documents.
• Verify and/or prepare essential documents, including pick lists, packing slips, bills of lading, and international air and ocean shipping documents.
• Manage and resolve transport-related complaints.
• Review shipping and receiving notices, and requests for movement of raw materials and finished products.
• Determine correct routings and arrange transportation for inbound and outbound freight as required.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations for shipping restricted materials.
• Operate within SAP P92, TMS software, and Dangerous Goods software systems.
• Maintain strong knowledge and experience in warehouse transportation processes.

What makes you a good fit

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in shipping restricted materials in accordance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working within SAP and TMS systems.
• Familiarity with Dangerous Goods handling and compliance.
• Previous experience in warehouse transportation operations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of international shipping documentation and processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The salary for this role is $55,000.00 - $62,500.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
